How to play Super Liquid Soccer

4. Open tactics to pick Attack, Midfield, or Defend, then press kick off.

Player ratings and tactics

Every player has a set of ratings that you can see and change in Edit Teams. Teams also have overall settings.

At team level you can set tactics, aggression, approach, level, league, kit type, and sponsor. In settings you can also turn move assist on or off and move a difficulty slider between easy and hard.

Tips and strategy

• Play the tutorial once: It is the fastest way to learn the five action keys, and it shows that W and S change your shot direction and curl.
• Use I against high defenses: A through pass rolls into space ahead of a runner, which beats defenders who stand too far up.
• Cross with L, finish with J: Chip the ball in from the wing and press J as it arrives for a header. The game has its own lines for diving and bullet headers.
• Save P for breakaways: The burst of speed is best for getting behind the defense or chasing back, not for every run.
• Be careful with slide tackles: L slides when you defend, and a late slide can give away a foul, a yellow card, or even a red card ("he's off!").
• Match tactics to the score: Set Defend when you are protecting a lead and Attack when you need a late goal.
• Start small in cups: Begin with the Beginner Cup before the International cup or the Chumpions League.

Versions and similar games

This is version 1.2.1 of the game. There is no separate "Super Liquid Soccer 26" in it, but the Chumpions League is labeled 2023-24 and the Women's Cup 2023.
